The new DOUBLE BALL BANGLE AND RING

In response to many requests for more BLING in the Just Fore You Jewelry line, I am announcing these newest designs. A variation on the popular golfball and tee bangle and ring, this stunning bangle has a sapphire-studded golf ball at each end! Sapphires can be in white, blue or red (also known as rubies!). As with all the other pieces, prices vary based on materials used. These new pieces are as playable and stunning as the originals.. Please leave me your feedback as well as the things you'd like to see, so that I can incorporate them into my designs as they evolve!

It's December!

What a wonderful time of year! Bainbridge Island is getting all decorated - the lights are up downtown, the huge red bows go up on my front fence, evergreen swags on all the doors, and the furniture gets moved around to accommodate the tree to come. 'Tis the season of bling!

NOW is the time to place your holiday gift order for that female golfer on your list. Inventory is small, so let me know what you would like as soon as you can. It will be in the mail to you the next day.

Take time to breath during this quiet time before all the festivities begin! Make your shopping decision easy and get that special female golfer a special gift she will love! Just Fore You Jewelry is perfect for any holiday golf gift!

Fall is really here!

The leaves have changed, and are floating to the ground, we had our first real drenching storm on the island, the treefrogs are croaking in the gutters, and all is right in the world! It's been busy busy busy with the Holidays right around the corner. Racing to submit to the holiday guides - look for our ad in the brand new golf magazine The Hacker's Paradise, visit the Golf Talk Live website where we've been chosen as the November Product of the Month, and see all the new features on justforeyou.com. (Holiday sale specials!)

I'm excited about a new feature on my blog - I'll be writing about the various stones and minerals that I use in my pieces - what they are, where they are found, geologic formation, beliefs, etc. This past week, I had the opportunity to spend a few hours at a rock and gem shop, speaking with a wonderful geologist about all things stone. She was one of the geologists who was up on Mount St. Helens right after it blew it's top, and did SHE have some stories. So stay tuned to learn more!

On to Desert Mountain Resort for their Golf Demo Day

I'm excited and honored! I've been asked to come down to show my jewelry to the members and guests of Desert Mountain Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. It's their semi-annual Golf Demo Day.  I've pulled together a more elegant arrangement to display my pieces, all cool black and silver. Will keep you posted on the happenings!

Been working with Tory on the website and the blog, and with Thailand on the individual pieces. I'm so excited about how things are evolving - just taking the next step. And who knows where the road leads!

My path today.

A resident of Bainbridge Island, Washington, since 1997, Lucia Olson lives in a lovely 1916 yellow farmhouse with her family, a menagerie of animals and a 1951 Chevy pickup named Jessy.

Open the door to The Little Yellow Farmhouse and hear the sounds emanating from Lucia’s jewelry workshop: torch hissing, hammers ringing and tumblers rolling.

Appreciation for the natural and the handmade began
at an early age for Lucia. Her Vermont grandfather was
a Master Woodworker and Lucia spent many happy hours
down in his shop. Watching and learning, coming to respect
and have awe for the process of creation.

Her formal training began at Stanford University where she received her degreein Art History. Studying across time and cultures, she learned how different processes were developed and pours them into her work. Lucia enjoys the freedom of letting the silver flow and reticulate as it will, gently guided by the heat of the torch. Each piece is unique, echoing nature and the creative process.
